Just recently I was honored to be interviewed by my good friend, Paeter Frandsen. Paeter and I have been friends for a while now, but originally only knew each other through the grapevine at the local church we both attended. Back in those days, I was still penning the first drafts of
Expired Reality and he was putting on a stage production of
Spirit Blade, his acclaimed science fiction/fantasy audio drama.
Besides being a friend, Paeter is also the creator of Spirit Blade Product…

I've changed Melisa's name to Morgan when I realized I had another Melisa in an other ms of mine. I don't want to keep using the same name so a name change was in order.
Janice~
Jared the fierce were-tabby meets Morgan
Janice m. Seagraves
Morgan stumbled into the lodge. I’m safe. She glanced at the rustic rough pine interior, limped past the quaint homey furniture, aiming unerringly for the huge stone fireplace. Why the hell did I let myself get talked into these things? What was I thinking?…

This last Saturday, I had my very first book signing. Borders Books and Music in Mesa, Arizona was my first spot and I had a blast doing it there. The store staff was more than friendly, the accommodations for my signing were wonderful and I just had a great time overall.
All in all, I ended up selling 15 copies of…

This morning, I received a copy of Tilly's Tale, that I'd ordered as soon as the book became available in the UK. I always like to test out the delivery service when I have a new book released.
Well, I have to say the quality of book simply amazed me.…

Should I care?
This isn't sarcasm
I truly need to know
With all you throw at me
I no longer can discern
What should tighten my heart
If it's crimson, it's golden
But the rays overwhelm me
Through porcelain you tell me
Of shaken babies and drive-bys
You leave me angry and indignant
But, ultimately, only helpless
So bring your investigators
Away from would-be molestors
Long enough to find some clues
As to where life lost value
And answer the simple question
Should I care?

A recent conversation with a friend regarding vampires has prompted me to post this excerpt from 13 Flights, one of my upcoming books. This particular piece was actually written a few years ago. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the insanity of it...
For so many years I have wanted to have someone embrace my insanity - just one person to not dismiss what I am as being simple insanity or a seeking for attention. Attention. Hmm, such an interesting possibility. May that's what this is all about. Mayb…

Slowly, slowly I was going deep,
Hearing some flick sound of beep,
May be doctor around checking the pulses,
Not enduring pain and trying to repulse,
Nose blocked with pipes and tapped,
Hand also tied with needle and capped,
All sort of medicines mustered in vanes,
Horrible sound of ventilator with open panes,
Slowly hearing some known voice,
Without hearing aid I had no choice,
Trying to pick what was going on,
Some was telling feed with spoon,
Such was state when I was on bed,
Life support…

You suggested let us meet anywhere,
A place Where HE is not there,
We then will have enough freedom,
With close quarter and ruling the wisdom,
We exchanged so many pleasantries,
Life was live with your words and commentaries,
No distance seemed between ocean and countries,
Neither mountains, hills nor any boundaries,
We had feelings for each other,
Relation still didn't grow any further,
Eyes met and said to one another,
Let us not forget this moment and bother
I prayed HIM sincerely for your…

I have this friend...
Funny how we start something off with those words when the story indeed involves the speaker. However, I truly do have this friend and I leave it up to you to determine if this is concerning him, her, or yourself.
Facebook - this wonderful social networking tool ninety percent of the computer world is a part of - can be a very handy little device for finding lost friends and family. It's only after finding them that one realizes there was quite probably a reason they were…

I am lucid
But not sure if I am knowing
I am moving
But only going through the motions
I love
But can't say that I'm loving
I am living
But can't find my pulse
I have responsibilities
But don't know that I am responsible
I'm thirty-nine
But am I an adult?
I am knowledgeable
But not sure if I know anymore......

It is what it is
No more, no less
It is life
It is the lack thereof
I care, I don't
Sometimes all at once
It is fulfilling
It is a void
All that is light
All that is dark
Celebrated nothings
Subtle revelations
No more, no less
It is what it is

One widely discussed topic is the way in which countless blogs and social network sites flooding cyberspace are drowning the seriousness and reliability of true journalism. Millions of members and subscribers to these unreliable sources are accepting the views they provide as fact; they have become pick-or-discard sources according to reader's perspectives. This sounds great for, not only readers can choose their pick but they can also participate on the discussions; anyone can be a provider of…

Whoa, long time no write! I did not realize it had been that long. It is not a matter of I don't want to write, it is a matter of material. A matter of what I write about in the near past is very painful and difficult to put into words. One day, I will relate all to all.
For now, nice warm day, no work today. What to do? Not too sure what my goals are for the day. Number one goal, wake up, done. Number two, drink coffee, done. Man, I am moving through this list fast. Oh yeah, three, take a show…

Leading the humans on a merry chase!
Once upon a midnight dreary, Kina came home weak and weary. Ahh, what a jog.
Fun..fun..humans chasing dog is a blast. I can read and now I can write. The wonders of
paws and high technology.
Well, I got up this morning, really had to pee. Got the humans up and moving. I fell back
asleep, unsure of the time of our excursion. I can never tell when we are going or going to
sit a bit. I didn't want to waste valuable sleep time, so I dozed off. The next thing I kn…

As we go through our day to day lives, sometimes we take the days for granted, worry not this not a "protect the precious moments, savor each day" speech. This is just a brief note, on how things can change your whole schedule. A routine has been established, go to work, do errands, replenish our energies with food and sleep, a bit of fun before off to work again.
This seems mundane. I am very aware and long for those days again. I have not had a "routine day" since the first part of July. It is…

This is one of those, impromptu writings. I have been very remiss in my writings and wanted to get something down, to keep the juices flowing. There have been a few things that have happened in my life that have made me not want to write. I want to write now, just not my thoughts or feelings on those events. So I am taking a detour around them. Reflecting on my life, just what is on my mind.
Moments are on my mind. A minute is a measure of time, a general term. If someone says, "Wait a minute",…
