Hi Sydney; I began writing as a lark. I was a volunteer for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department when I though it would be fun to write about a senior citizen who did the above. From that time on I have been putting words on paper. Since the…

I could see why you wanted to tell me it is posted. If you had just used my lines and then ran like the wind or posted it someplace else without telling me, I would think you were shady! I am flatterered that my writing has touched you. As far as…

It has been a while. how are you and how have you been. I miss talking with you. I myself have been in my own world for a while just finding reasons to smile. I hope all is well. PJ

It's funny how in this world of disposable everything, the concept of "love" doesn't change.

Being loved is to be unique and special to your lover.
Being loved is to be valued and protected.
Being loved is to be understood and "pre-approved".

There is still a chasm between sex and "making love," which is a misnomer, BTW. You don't "make love." It is a pre-existing condition.

Both of your love poems are great and express the yearning to be actually "loved" very well.

:-)

I was reading over people's stuff her at the same time I was reading Shakespeare and the idea lit up in my brain. I'm glad you liked it. I made a conscious effort not to use anything from "Nothing". I figured you would be expecting that. Although, the last line of the original version was "Love feels like nothing".

I know this is coming out of the blue and I've said it before, but I am still thankful to you for writing 'Nothing'.
