From an early age I knew I had the gift of writing poetry. I started writing in journals at about age 11. By the time I was 15 years old, I knew I wanted to publish a book of poetry. I even picked out a title and wrote it across one of my many notebooks.
Over 10 years later after my life had been a bit derailed, I finally made my dream of seeing my writing in print happen. I also kept the title I wrote on my notebook years before,
A Place with No Name.
A Place with No Name consists of a lot of poetry I wrote in my high school years, some were even written from when I was only 12 years old. Although some or most of what I had written could have been edited, changed or totally rewritten, I left them the way I wrote them. It didn't feel right to change something I had crafted years before. Other poems were from what was happening at the time when I was putting the book together.
I like to think my poetry has grown since then. My next book I'm hoping, will be published sometime next year.

More about me can be found at www.authornation.com, www.myspace.com/your_fuckin_princess or I'm also on facebook.
