I just came across your profile in this network. I would like to extend an invitation to join Allvoices.com. It’s a citizen journalist site. We discuss, debate and write about everything under the sun here. Allvoices also has an incentive program for writers and they can earn up to $10,000 cash. Register at http://www.allvoices.com/journalism and start contributing.

Hi Rick! I'm glad you're enjoying the neighborhood! I just tried responding in detail to your TWB email. While I can 'post' here via my mobile, for some reason my phone doesn't recognize the TWB email 'send' button. I look forward to touching bases with you upon my return next week. Until then...have a great weekend and happy writings...

Hi Rick,
Thanks for the comment! I do have a lot of great sites for writers, but the best place for a writer to start is at my site Authors Box. It's like a directory for writers and authors. Check it out at http://www.authorsbox.com
I think you'll find a ton of good guidance there!
Best wishes to you,
Carol

The best suggestion I can give for getting the most out of the box: Join in. There are discussions happening all over this place - the forums, the different groups, people's blogs. Critique (constructively), add your two or three cents, and do whatever you can to write. We have people on here who can be counted on to point out spelling and/or grammatical errors; people who can dissect the very core of any writing. We have people who are published, unpublished, and just plain confused as to the whole publishing world. Give your input and assistance when and where you can.

I see you're published. If you see any amateurs, help them out if you can. No one here sees each other as competition, but rather as teammates - all struggling to find our dreams.

Join some of the groups - or create your own. Several different interest groups reside in this little box. This box reminds me of the tardis (Dr. Who reference for those who don't know). Small and insignificant from the outside, but large and wondrous inside.

And I'm taking up your entire comment wall, so I shall hush... for now.

Welcome to the box! I noticed self improvement in your interests. Have you read "Think and Grow Rich" by Napolean Hill or "Deep Survival" by Laurence Gonsales?
