Let's do an advice group. No arguing, no debating, just words of wisdom about writing. Try to keep them brief, 100 words or less, per post. If someone wants to respond to someone else's post, send a personal message. Fair enough?

My first book.

THE FEATHER GANG is an intriguing story about a gang of outlaws, criminal by choice but driven by circumstance. They are pursued by U.S. Deputy Marshal Jake Silver, who is intelligent and cunning through years of experience. The gang will soon determine if their wits will endure to pull off one last big bank heist, and the Marshal will be put to the test to see if he can stay ahead of the gang's ingenious plan.

As I said before, SynergEbooks published my novel. It was selling last year slowly but surely, but after January of this year, sales dropped. I noticed the same thing occuring with other authors. It's the economy, which makes it hard for all of us. Just keep promoting, promoting, promoting.

I already have the information through Infinity. I got Mark Levine's book rating the self-publising companys. Infinity was in the top group, as was Lulu.

Which stores carry your book? How have sales been?

Hi Jon:

How did you publish your book? Traditional publisher or self?

I was published last year (first novel) by SynergEbooks. I am looking to put it in print through another publisher or do it myself through Lulu. What would you advise?

I'm a little slow this week - you left me a helpful comment back on March 29th and I did not say 'thank you'. Rude! So sorry for the delayed note of appreciation.

Thank you for taking time to read my small clip of Sticks and Stones and for the helpful comment.

Cheers,
Shai

Thanks for the friend. What is an example of the type of westerns, adventure, fiction and history you do and can I see a sample?

Hi Jon,
It is beautiful here in a different way from New Mexico. A little more water for one thing! Good to be connected. Let me know if you head this way.
