Personally - the only thing I use a word counter for is to make sure I am on target for the "normal" word count for my books.
I am currently working on two books at once...but I haven't physically written a word in over a week.
I am doing someth...
Have managed over a thousand words today. Was able to concentrate for some reason. But I think I'm getting too bogged down with the word count, a bit obsessed with making sure I clock up those words enough to justify a day's work. Does anyone else...

New Book out
I've never been one to plug my work or blow my own trumpet and that's certainly not what I'm doing but I am quite pleased with myself of late! I've self-published a small children's book with Lulu called Adventures at Aaron Loch Farm (obviously written by me, Kathryn Brown). Lulu have marketed it quite highly priced, I'm worried it will jeopordise sales but I'm in print at long last! Whether it's self-published or not, it's a good feeling to be in print.
