At A Crossroad

Lord, I’m at a crossroad.
I don’t know what to do.
Which way to go and where to turn
Is what I’m asking you.

I need your guidance in my life
You’ll show me the right way
I know that I can count on this
If everyday I pray.

There is so much information
That it overwhelms my mind.
I don’t know how to go about it,
But the truth I need to find.

Without knowing what really happened
I don’t know how I should respond
The only chance I have to tell
Would be a message from beyond.

So, please Lord, hea… Continue

Never, Ever Again

My son is gone.

How can I ever go on?

The world should just stop

And let me off to breath,

But it doesn't.

It just keeps going

And the bills keep coming

The phone keeps ringing

And life goes on.

I don't want to talk to anyone

I don't want to go back to work

I don't want to do anything

But hold his coat,

Look at his pictures,

Listen to his music,

And cry.

And cry.

And cry.

And cry.

Nothing will ever be the same.

Never, ever again.

I'll never see his beautiful, beautiful smile… Continue

The Fremont County Writers' and Artists' Fair

Hey Everybody! The Fremont County Writers' and Artists' Fair was a huge success. They had a very good turn out and it really was a classy event. There was piano music, goodies, wine tasting, and an abundance of very creative people. For me personally, I was very pleased with the results. I did not have a published book to sell yet, so I did a poetry signing, displaying my poems with creative backgrounds, with some very positive results.
I was able to sell enough poetry to cover the deposit to ge… Continue

The Life of a C.N.A.

I love job.
I care for the old.
They were once young.
They were brave and bold.

Now they are fragile.
Now they are frail.
There’s a wealth of symptoms
From which they all ail.

I help them with eating.
I clean them with care.
I bathe them gently,
And shampoo their hair.

I help them with walking.
I can’t let them fall.
I’m someone to talk to
When there’s no one at all.

At the end of the day
What I can not see,
Is when all’s said and done,
Who takes care of me?

Hi I read that you can send your work to an office to copywrite it, you can do it cheaper, if you send the package with your work in to your self but this is very important you must not open it ever, unless a court orders you to prove that you were the true writer. Thus proving to the court because of the date stamped on it. Of course there is a problem if you were to have a fire then they could be distroyed or then again the office you send it to could have a fire or worse just lose it completely.
The other thing you could do is email it to your self and keep the email if all is destroyed then all you need is your email and the password of course then you can down load it and it will be date stamped as well not sure if the court would like that in the current times, but in the future who knows.

Do you have a favorite writing blog? Want to see it recognized? Right now there are two contests taking nominations for the top writing blogs out there.
The first is a contest for the Top 25 Writing Blogs, at Maria Schneider's Editor Unleashed. You can make several nominations here,if you have more than one favorite and there are five catagories to choose from for each nomination.
The second is found at Michael Stelzner's Writing White Papers and it is a contest for the Top Ten Blogs for Writers. You only get one vote here and a blog must have more than one vote to qualify.
So pop on over to these two sites and nominate your favorite writing blog. But wait! Before you do, check out my blog, Writing to be Read. You might want to nominate it. You never know.

Angel 1: Hey, on uploading the pics in the comment boxes, look above in the toolbar of the comment box for the 2nd icon from the right (between the hyperlink symbol & blank sheet of paper). Simply browse you folders to upload.
I also like to select on "Options" after the pic is loaded to decrease my pixel size down from 300 (is really large) and also you can select it to place left or right of your text, etc.
I also find that I have to then put my cursor back at the "end' of the filename & simply hit "Enter" on keyboard & Voila!
Good luck, and hope this helps. ;-)
