I'd hang on to it for awhile, restore it, then if and when you decide to sell it you might get more for it.

Maybe you can do both - hang on to it for five or ten years and then sell it once the sentimentality has been satisfied. I bet it will be worth more then anyway... just a thought. Unless of course you're living with mom and there's no place to put it... then mom might have some say. But then a compromise could be reached?? You get rid of something else in lieu of sled?

I need some assistance on a matter not related to writing. A couple of days ago I was trash picking, (yes I dump hop, and I'm proud of it), when I came across a Flexible Flyer sled. It's in fair condition, the blades are a little rusted and the paint is peeled, but other than that, it's okay. I'd like to keep it just because I had one as a kid, but my mom thinks I should sell it on e-bay. I don't think I'm going to get much for it; I'm just not sure I'll get that much for it based on sentimentality, so I thought I'd start a pro/con list here, get other opinions, then make the call from there. Pro for selling it; in this economy, any money is good money. Con for selling it; it brings back memories. Any thoughts?

This new sport would require a larger hat. You can tell a happy biker by the bugs in their teeth and you can tell a happy seagull fisherman by the splotches on their clothes. :)
